I am on a wondrous journey as a fiber artist exploring the ages old craft that transforms wool along with silk, flax, and other fibers into wearable art and personal keepsakes.
From the ranchers that lovingly tend to the sheep that provide a myriad of wool choices; to those that clean, card, dye, blend and package for spinning and felting; to the entrepreneurs and artists who teach and share their knowledge; this organic supply chain is magical to me.
Thank you for joining my creative passage!
A Magical Supply Chain & Community
Curators of Fiber
In 2017 while meandering on Pinterest I discovered sweet little creatures that were needle felted. How did I miss knowing about the craft of felting? My boards quickly expanded as I discovered amazing creations from cute, to functional, to couture.
The greatest gift from entering the world of felting are each and every person involved in the felt supply chain. There are the tireless owners of herds of sheep large and small. Not only do they care 'around-the-clock-every-day-of-the-year' for these beautiful creatures; they sheer and prepare the fiber, clean, card, dye, blend, package, ship... AND do their own spinning, weaving, knitting, crocheting, and felting too.
Whenever I reach out to a fiber business owner they are quick to share their knowledge, always willing to work with you to create custom blends, give advice and cheer you on your felting journey.
I want to acknowledge my growing list of supply chain businesses and other fiber artists that I am grateful to know and call fiber friends:

I just Love Pat’s scarves! The vibrant colors and textures are so unique. I bought 6 at Christmas to give out as gifts and everyone was overjoyed to receive them. Pat will work with you to get the size and color you want. The end result is not just a scarf but a work of art!

This scarf is absolutely lovely. Drapes beautifully. So light weight, yet crisp and clean. Obviously a lot of time and love went into the creating of it. The packaging was very professional as well. You can feel confident if sending as a gift. It will arrive beautifully packaged. So happy with my purchase.
This item was well packaged and shipped quickly. The item was just as described, and I look forward to using it for hatpins. I am very pleased with the service I received.
Came in a timely manner, and was exactly as pictured! There was a lovely handwritten note inside that made this even more special.
