Vintage button inspired the wool color choices to create this wet felted handbag. Colors of the forest on the outside with a Dijon Merino wool interior. Noro yarn from Japan is stitched in during the felting process resulting a wonderful meld of fibers.
A pocket was created for you to hold that communication device conveniently.
The pic of the vintage button with the needle shows I had to bend it in order to get it sewn on.
A leather strap lets this easily be worn on your shoulder as well.
Bag is 13" tall without strap x 11" wide at top x 8" wide at bottom.
Stap + Bag is approximately 21"
Weight with leather strap & button (I forgot to weigh before attaching) - 7oz

Created in a smoke free environment.
Always made with kindness, passed on to you!

For the fiber geeks who like to know how it was made...
There are no seams, the bag was made using a resist for the shape. Wool is laid out on both sides overlapping all edges, the wet felting process using water and olive oil soap bind the fibers together until the resist begins to buckle. the top is cut open to remove the resist, then the final felting process continues until the desired felted fabric size is achieved.
Lovin' this bag, hope you do too!
