A beloved copy of Outdoors July 1946 magazine issue inspired the creation of Jack Murray's cover art.
Needle felted MC-1 wool batt colors are hand blended to build each layer and detail to achieve the finished piece on linen. Silk lap bits are used to create the bubbles as he considers the lure.
When this piece finds a new home, a donation in Jack Murray's name will be made to Trout Unlimited in support of the tireless work to stop the Pebble Mine in Alaska that would negatively impact the wild salmon runs.
